FPSO BW Opal Achieves First Gas

The FPSO BW Opal, in which our group has participated through investment, has achieved First Gas, after successfully reaching Ready for Start-Up (RFSU).

Following ocean towage from the construction yard, offshore installation, hook-up, and commissioning activities, marking the transition of the project from construction to the operational phase. Going forward, the next milestone, Interim Performance Test (IPT), will further verify the facility’s performance. The final milestone, Practical Completion (PC), will conclude the delivery phase and mark the commencement of its long-term deployment.
