Meiji Shipping Group Joins Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN)
In 2017, we implemented an Anti-Corruption Policy to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and rules in the maritime business. This policy has been successfully introduced across our entire fleet, reinforcing our stand against corruption.
Moreover, we became proud members of the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) in June 2024. We share MACN’s goal of a corruption-free maritime industry and are committed to working towards this. MACN, which has over 200 global companies as members, provides a database that helps identify high-risk ports and a platform for reporting improper requests.
In our efforts to enhance our company-wide compliance system, we focus on eliminating corruption and maintaining trust in fair competition and the business environment. Our membership in MACN represents this commitment.
