The management of methanol- fueled bulk carriers

Our group will undertake the management of a methanol-fueled bulk carrier (dual fuel vessel) for the first time through our group’s ship management company. This management of a dual-fuel vessel follows our experience managing LNG carriers and methanol carriers.

By utilizing methanol as fuel, this vessel is expected to significantly reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions compared to conventional fuel oil. Through the management of this vessel, we aim to further accumulate expertise in ship management in the field of clean, next-generation fuels, thereby contributing to the
enhancement of our technical capabilities in this field.

Through the continued management of dual-fuel vessels and vessels equipped with environmental load reduction technologies, we aim to continue the development of ship management and take on challenges as a unified group to realize a sustainable and environmentally friendly future.
